Bike rental

Many errands and purchases can be done from Mörlbach Castle by bicycle. Bicycle tours in the wonderful pre-Alpine lake and hilly landscape are also a real option.

For this purpose we offer a bicycle rental service: 7 EUR per day or 35 EUR per week.
From 2024, e-bikes will expand our bike park, a covered shelter will protect the bikes from wind and rain.

Sport & game & yoga platform

For sports and games there is a variety of equipment: 
Table tennis and badminton rackets, dumbbells, swings, an adventure ropeway with pull-up bar, for rainy days a fine selection of board and other games.
You can find all this in the basement, next to children's toys, a dartboard and a guest library.
We also provide a 5x5 meter larch wood platform in the garden for yoga and other purposes upon request.

Rules & Times

  • Garden use only until 10 pm (if you are really quiet until 11 pm).
  • Ropeway only for children: 10 - 12 o'clock & 3pm – 6pm
  • Sports equipment & toys please clean up

Library & Exhibition

In the basement there is a guest library, which can be used at any time, with books of various genres and different eras.

In all staircases and corridors you will find countless original concert posters from ART CONCERTS (franz-abraham.com) from the 80s, 90s, 00s, with mostly legendary artists like Gidon Kremer, Mercedes Sosa, The Rolling Stones, Dave Brubeck, David Bowie, Paul Simon, Marisa Monte, Martha Argerich, Yo-Yo Ma, Kronos Quartet, James Brown, Carmina Burana Open Air Opera, Ben Hur Live, Placido Domingo.

Some of these posters including logos, among others the posters with the beam design, which were omnipresent in Munich for years, were designed by the ingenious graphic designer Pierre Mendell (with Klaus Oberer), who, among other things, gave the posters of the Bavarian State Opera an unmistakable face from 1993 to 2006.

Vintage car & racing simulator

Guests of our hotel can rent historical cars (among others Porsche 911 Carrera Targa G-model, year of construction 1989) or arrange co-driving experiences by special arrangement.
 
By special arrangement, we offer our guests the possibility to rent a racing simulator. This is the same model on which Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen trains. This 2022 top model configured for us by SIM-RACE-CHAMPION Moritz Löhner consists of the following components, among others:

  • Ashtray steering wheel
  • Simucube steering gear
  • Sparco bucket seat

Musicians welcome:
piano available

Pianists can rent a high-quality old Steingraeber piano, which is located in the basement and can be brought to certain rooms upon request. The conditions are to be agreed individually, as well as the practice times.

There is also a perfectly restored Steinway A grand piano from 1910.
The grand piano can be played by professional pianists. The conditions are agreed upon individually.

Of course, string players, wind players, trumpeters, guitarists, drummers, singers, in short: any kind of musicians are welcome!
It goes without saying that the volume of the music has to be in accordance with the principle of mutual respect.
